Welcome to Web Editor Plus, an evolution in content management that’s revolutionary by design.
How Does It Work?
In a word, “simply.” Web Editor Plus provides “software as a service” (SaaS) that enables you to manage your existing website via the Internet, with no software to download or install. It’s compatible across multiple platforms, and best of all, it’s easy to use.
How Do I Get Started?
Simply select a plan that fits your needs. Gather your FTP information. (We’ll explain that bit next.) And login. In just a matter of a couple minutes, you’ll be ready to go.
What is an FTP?
FTP stands for “file transfer protocol.” Every website has unique FTP information. And once we have yours, we can create a secure link between our server and your website, allowing you to make your changes, your way. So before we can get started, you’ll need to track down the following information:
FTP Login Address:
This is usually the domain of your web site (yoursite.com) or the IP address pointing to your web site.
FTP User Name:
This information is supplied by your hosting company. If you don't have it saved somewhere, you should be able to determine your user name by logging into your hosting service control panel, contacting your Webmaster or asking your hosting company.
FTP Password:
Again, this information is supplied by your hosting company. If you don't have it saved somewhere, you should be able to determine your password by logging in to your hosting service control panel or contacting your hosting service.
Once you’ve done that, you’re ready to edit your Web pages!
Got it! Now What Do I Do?
Not much. You’re just seconds away from the full editing power of WebEditor+. To finish the registration process, simply:
1. Create login account.
2. Enter your Website Address (i.e. www.mysite.com)
3. Enter the FTP information for Website.
Once you’ve done that, you’re ready to edit your Web pages!
